潘基文国連事務総長の訪日について
潘基文（パン・ギムン）国連事務総長が2009年6月下旬に日本を公式訪問する予定です。
事務総長は6月30日（火）から7月2日（木）まで東京に滞在し、麻生太郎総理大臣、中曽根弘文外務大臣と会談を行う予定です。また、日本のビジネス・リーダーとの会談も予定されています。
このほか、東京大学において学生とのタウン・ミーティング、日本の国連親善大使たちとの懇談会、子ども向けニュース番組への出演も行われる予定です。

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to Visit Japan
The Secretary-General is planning to make an official visit to Japan later this month.
During his stay in Tokyo, scheduled from June 30 to July 2, the Secretary-General plans to hold meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone. Also on his agenda is a meeting with Japanese business leaders.
In addition, he is expected to have a Town Hall meeting with students at the University of Tokyo, meet with the UN’s Goodwill Ambassadors in Japan and make a guest appearance on a television childrens’ news program.
