UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to Visit Japan

The Secretary-General is planning to make an official visit to Japan later this month.
During his stay in Tokyo, scheduled from June 30 to July 2, the Secretary-General plans to hold meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone. Also on his agenda is a meeting with Japanese business leaders.
In addition, he is expected to have a Town Hall meeting with students at the University of Tokyo, meet with the UN’s Goodwill Ambassadors in Japan and make a guest appearance on a television childrens’ news program.
