From Monday, 20 January, to Friday, 30 January, 2014, the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan (MEXT) holding its 8^th Youth Leadership Camp in Tokyo. Thirty participants, aged eighteen to twenty-five, from fourteen countries will gather and learn about the contribution of sports to peace and development. After the camp, they will return home and share their new knowledge with their communities.

The Youth Leadership Camp has been held in various countries since 2012. This year, it comes to Japan for the first time and will be held at the Tokyo Olympic Centre and Tokyo Budokan.
